 A Day at the Farm

On Saturday morning, Omar and his sister Huda went to visit their uncle’s farm. They were so excited! The sun was shining, and the air smelled fresh. Their uncle met them at the gate with a big smile.

في صباح يوم السبت، ذهب عمر وأخته هدى لزيارة مزرعة عمّهما. كانا متحمسين جدًا! كانت الشمس مشرقة، والهواء تفوح منه رائحة جميلة. استقبلهم عمّهما عند البوابة بابتسامة كبيرة.

First, they went to see the chickens. Huda laughed when one chicken ran after her. Omar helped his uncle collect the eggs from the nests. “Be gentle,” said Uncle Samir, smiling.

أولًا، ذهبا لرؤية الدجاج. ضحكت هدى عندما ركضت دجاجة خلفها. وساعد عمر عمه في جمع البيض من الأعشاش. قال العم سمير مبتسمًا: "كن لطيفًا."

Then, they visited the cows. Omar watched how his uncle milked a cow carefully. The milk looked warm and white. Huda touched the cow’s back and said, “She’s so soft!”

ثم زاروا الأبقار. راقب عمر كيف كان عمه يحلب البقرة بحذر. بدا الحليب دافئًا وأبيض. لمست هدى ظهر البقرة وقالت: "إنها ناعمة جدًا!"

After that, they walked through the fields. They saw tall corn plants and rows of tomatoes. Uncle Samir picked a tomato and gave it to them. “Fresh from the farm!” he said proudly.

بعد ذلك، ساروا عبر الحقول. رأوا نباتات الذرة الطويلة وصفوف الطماطم. قطف العم سمير حبة طماطم وأعطاها لهما. قال بفخر: "طازجة من المزرعة!"

Before leaving, Omar and Huda fed the horses and took a short ride. The wind blew softly on their faces. On the way home, they couldn’t stop talking about their amazing day at the farm.

قبل المغادرة، أطعم عمر وهدى الخيول وركبا قليلًا عليها. كانت الرياح تهب برفق على وجهيهما. وفي طريق العودة إلى المنزل، لم يتوقفا عن الحديث عن يومهما الرائع في المزرعة.
