The New Friend
It was the first day of school after the summer holiday. Sara felt a little nervous. She walked into her classroom and looked around. Everyone was talking and laughing. Then she saw a new girl sitting alone at the back.

كان أول يوم في المدرسة بعد العطلة الصيفية. شعرت سارة بقليل من التوتر. دخلت إلى صفها ونظرت حولها. كان الجميع يتحدثون ويضحكون. ثم رأت فتاة جديدة تجلس وحدها في الخلف.

Sara smiled and walked over to her. “Hi, I’m Sara,” she said kindly. The girl looked up and smiled shyly. “I’m Laila. I’m new here.” Sara sat beside her and started talking about the teacher and the lessons.

ابتسمت سارة ومشت نحوها. قالت بلطف: "مرحبًا، أنا سارة." رفعت الفتاة رأسها وابتسمت بخجل. "أنا ليلى، أنا جديدة هنا." جلست سارة بجانبها وبدأت تتحدث عن المعلمة والدروس.

At lunch, Sara invited Laila to sit with her and her friends. At first, Laila was quiet, but soon she began to laugh and share her food. They talked about their favorite games and TV shows.

في وقت الغداء، دعت سارة ليلى للجلوس معها ومع صديقاتها. في البداية كانت ليلى صامتة، لكنها سرعان ما بدأت تضحك وتشارك طعامها. تحدثن عن ألعابهن وبرامج التلفاز المفضلة.

After school, Sara and Laila walked home together. They found out they lived on the same street! They laughed and planned to walk together every morning. Laila felt so happy and said, “You’re my first friend here.”

بعد المدرسة، سارت سارة وليلى معًا إلى المنزل. اكتشفتا أنهما تسكنان في نفس الشارع! ضحكتا وخططتا أن تمشيا معًا كل صباح. شعرت ليلى بسعادة كبيرة وقالت: "أنتِ أول صديقة لي هنا."

From that day, Sara and Laila became best friends. They studied together, played together, and helped each other. Every morning, they walked to school side by side, smiling and talking about their dreams.

من ذلك اليوم، أصبحت سارة وليلى أعز صديقتين. كانتا تدرسان وتلعبان وتساعدان بعضهما البعض. وفي كل صباح، كانتا تمشيان إلى المدرسة جنبًا إلى جنب، تبتسمان
وتتحدثان عن أحلامهما.
